OK, just a short message today ...
STOP discounting ... it is the #1 business killer ...
Think of this, if you have a 20% margin and then have a 10% off sale you have to sell TWICE as much to make the same Gross Profit ...
Instead, add value ...
Give away hard items with a soft dollar value, ie a shirt that is valued at $200 but only cost you $80. Customer still perceives they got $200 for nothing ...
So, how have you seen companies add value rather than discount ... ? How have you done it ... ? Think of 7 ways right now you could add value rather than discount your way forward ...
If cannot think of them, how can your customer ...
