Let me give you mine.  The usual restaurant my wife and kids go for lunch on a Sunday had an item on their menu changed by their "corporate head office" and it's my favorite sushi ... it arrived and I was unhappy.

So, when the manager came over, he made a really quick decision and took action.  He said, sir, let me make you the old one on the house right away ... happy customer, will return and buy again.

Simply put he took action to turn an unhappy customer into a happy one.   I'd love your story to help with a new training program on turning unhappy customers into happy ones ...

But away from business, these next few days I am Mr Mom, my wife is on a trip with her Dad and I am having a few days of Daddy, daughter time as well ...

My favorite song with the girls (yes I have two) at the moment is I'm cleaning my gun ...

They are still young but I know that just like business I am learning at every step how to be a great Dad.  Not easy, not something we will ever Master I think until we are grand-parents, but suffice to say, a rewarding challenge.

I use a lot of my coaching skills and techniques with the girls ...

1.  Always answer YES with conditions, like yes you can have that if you have your own money her to buy it ...

2.  Always use questions, "do you think that was a good choice or a bad choice?"

3.  Always focus on the positive, NOT Stop jumping on the bed, but Please get on the floor now ...

4.  And the best lesson, goals are good, but cannot always be a carrot, sometimes you need a stick and I have to remember I am their Dad, not their friend ...

Creating a spectacular life and a great business, have to be done with intention ...

It's really hard to get where you want to go, if you don't know where it is ... here's a few hints to help you decide what it is you want in life ...

1.  Decide what you DON'T want and list out the exact opposite ...

2.  Think of what you enjoy, what excites you for both yourself and others ...

3. Look at pictures, magazines are the best and tear out things that you think would be great, places you'd love to go or experiences you'd love to have ...

4.  Make a list of everything in your life that needs upgrading or replacing ...

5.  Think of people you admire and make a list of the traits or reasons why ...

Knowing what you want, what you choose is a lot simpler than most people make it.  Just aim at choosing a few things, places, events, traits, learning's or experiences to begin with and add more, at least one more every single day ...

G is for GOAL - Take your dreams and turn them into a SMART Goal, give it a number, a timeframe and be specific ... By the way, generally if you know how to achieve it, it's NOT a goal it's a simple To DO ... create GOALS that make you learn and grow ...

P is for PLAN - Now you have a goal, WRITE the plan. If it's in your head, it's not a plan ... Who is doing what, by when ... ?

A is for ACTION - Time to go to work ... DO the hard parts first and then the easy will follow ...
