The Good, the Bad and the INTERNET …

You know that the Internet is an amazing tool, it's allowed us to do life and business in an entirely new way, it's made many aspects of life so much easier ...

There are so many great points, BUT ... and it's a big but ...

Unlike other forms of media, there are no journalistic controls, no ethics and totally anonymous posts that can be totally fraudulent, totally defamatory and also just plain downright disgraceful ...

From personal experience, I have had things posted about my family, about me privately, even my home address and phone number, people called me a fraud, a conman, a ripoff guy and so much more ... ALL ANONYMOUSLY and I cannot get it taken down ...

If you think it gets me mad, it used to ... not anymore ... because while it seems you cannot fight back, you can ...

Here's what do you do if you are attacked on the Internet ... ?

5 things that are vital ...

1.  Answer EVERY allegation with total transparency but only do it on a site that YOU CONTROL ... never answer on their site, put a link from their site to a site you control ...

2. Give your good customers, team members and clients a place to speak up, a place to be heard and seen, allow them to post their own replies ... get the positive voices out there ... hope you can comment here and do just that ...

3.  Make sure you control the search and domain of your name, build strength in your site and many other sites with your name in them, for example, I have not just www.bradsugars.com, but also www.aboutbradsugars.com, www.askbradsugars.com and www.actionspeakslouderthanwords.com ...

4.  Make sure you are linked to from as many other sites as possible ... get other people writing about you and talking about you and linking to your sites ...

5.  Blog, Facebook, Tweet, LinkedIN and get yourself out there and let people know who you really are ...

If you are one of my coaches, franchisees or clients, or one of the entrepreneurs I have trained, or a reader of my books, let people know the truth about ActionCOACH ...

Have a great day ... Brad Sugars

Brad, awesome advice. The internet is like no other media forum and requires special attention – I personally take a moment to reflect before hitting the send or submit button. And then I find myself hitting the delete button instead. Keep it positive, keep in control – great leadership.

  2. Kameron Thorne says:

Throughout the infancy of my professional career, I have always battled naysayers. I tend to outwork everyone else and therefore moved up the corporate ladder faster than most. I became a Vice President of a large organization when I was 29 years old. Where I lacked experience, I made up in my drive. I earned a lot of degrees, won a few prestigious awards and through it all, I was mocked, ridiculed, scorned. Most of it had to do with my age. I knew in my mind that I was deserving of any position I received because I worked hard and achieved results.

I have come to realize that any time you have success, there will be someone there to pull you down. It’s similar to a bucket of crabs; once one reaches the top, the others pull them down so nobody escapes the inevitable doom.

Those that aren’t successful within Action Coach didn’t put forth the effort to make themselves successful. Those that are successful in Action would be successful in any endeavor because they follow a successful system. Those that aren’t successful want those around them to fail. Misery loves company. It’s easy to blame others for a lack of success and if you’re looking for reasons to be upset, it’s easy to find the reasons.

I was made promises that weren’t kept during the sales process but soon realized success comes from me, not a salesperson.

There isn’t a perfect organization but haven’t found a better organization at this time for me. If I hadn’t seen the results with my clients, I would have become a skeptic. Results are happening with my clients and myself.

    Brad,

Don’t worry about the skeptics. As long as you you have success, you’ll continue to hear it. I’m sure you’ve heard from them thousands of time. Enjoy it! You’re only on the earth once.

  3. Tanya says:

‘review’ is another word to use when registering additional domains. You can also lift the keywords off the blogging sites that slander you to add to your own keywords. If you’re using Internet Explorer, go to ‘view’ and select ’source’. Under the meta tags, look for keywords and phrases about yourself and copy them straight to your own meta tags. This will at least ensure you get equal picking on those keywords in a Google or Yahoo search on your name (The directories like Yahoo use metatags more than Google). Well said Mr Sugars.

  4. nicky kennedy says:

Yes Brad, its sad that people have to feel good by slandering people who are where they want to be instead of taking positive action to get there themselves, i love your action of dealing with this positively as gives you so much more control and power over the situation, Well done.

  5. Dane D. Miller says:

    Brad,

The higher and more visible one becomes, the more likely it is that nay-sayers and critics will emerge to target you.

I will weigh in from the ActionCoach client vantage point. I’m a client and have been for nearly a year now. The results of my coaches efforts (Dennis Wagner here in the DFW area) have been nothing short of staggering. In less than a year, we have re-invented the inner workings of our marketing and design company, totally systemized many of our processes, and as a result, I have twice the time now than I had before my ActionCoach support in a typical week to devote to growth drivers.

Next week I will attend my 6th (!) 90 Day workshop. Why? because from each one previously attended measurable progress has been made, and I have been clear-headed and focused on what items are priority, and those that can wait.

To be sure, not all will have this level of success. This may be a Darwin’s Law-like hint that survival of the fittest is not a myth. Simply stated, not all are wired for the challenges of being a business owner. But for those who are on the border line (myself included), if you’re willing to invest the sweat equity, then with the guidance of ActionCoach training combined with some real work ON your business, not just IN your business, most can ascend to another level of business growth momentum.

For those questioning the validity of the training and programs, I’d say talk to we who are using the tools and practices, and get our take. I’d say that virtually none of us feel like we’re being hoodwinked, and most will say the payments we make for coaching support to our respective coaches are an exceptionally valuable and worthy investment.

And this is not the first place or the last time that I share my enthusiasm, so rest assured, at least from one part of the globe, the positive is being loudly broadcast.

Brad, I agree that people sometimes use blog commentary to ridicule, criticize, and belittle. I agree with your suggestions.

    Thanks for your periodic emails!

  7. Agi Lurtz says:

Brad, I believe this is great information for everyone involved in blogging, posts, even social networking. Thank you for taking the time to think it though and publish it for all to read.

  8. Marianne Edelmann says:

One can only wonder about the character of someone who stoops so low as to do anonymous negative postings, especially if they also lash out at someone’s family.
It has been my privilege to have seen close up the growth that Brad Sugars’ company Action International has had over the last ten years from a small company with a massive vision to the international organization creating better lives for hundreds of thousands of business owners that ActionCOACH is today. The motivational force of the man behind this is truly amazing. Is he infallible? No…he’s a human being like the rest of us. Does he make mistakes? Yes…ofcourse…just like every one of us. Do I always agree with his decisions? No! But meanwhile Brad remains the driving force & inspiration behind the betterment of thousands of lives across the planet.

  9. Stefan Kazakis says:

In the game of life we do our best following a system that provides everyone an opportunity to break the mould and exceed and ultimately succeed. When this happens questions are asked, accusations are made and regretfully ‘loose and unsubstantiated claims’are made by individuals and groups… many a time these people are faceless and use an anonymous mask.
In my experience ‘loose and unsubstantiated comments’that threaten your personal name goodwill always get sorted with time, and generally it’s not through the strategy of an ‘eye for eye’ as Ghandi once said if it was “…an eye for an eye we would all go blind…”
Keep on focussing on being a Great Family Man and Sensational Businessman Brad!

  10. James Geedy says:

Against the grain should be a way of life
What’s worth the prize is always worth the fight
Every second counts ’cause there’s no second try…

Need help with the fight? Call Action they have it figured out!

  11. Zenovia Moroz-Kopchuk says:

I have read your blog and you are so right, the internet is a useful tool yet it has so much power to harm others. Never mind successful people, it also affects kids via predators and cyber bullies etc.

It has been my experience that the only people out there anonymously criticizing other people are either liars or people who have something to hide. If you truly believe what you are saying, you seek justice properly, not by slander, and you stand up and let the world know who you are so that you can be held accountable to your words and actions. If I have an issue and wish to complain to a company about something, I will do so in a way that they can reach me and know who I am so that I can not only provide further feedback but I can be held accountable to my opinion.

Many people cannot accept that others are successful and will do whatever they can to hurt or negate that success. That is why we need to just let them be. It’s hard not to be upset, yet there is no alternative because people can be so petty and narrow minded.

Your advice about transpareny is also crucial. Live your life in such a manner that the lies are obvious. I live by two mottos. Firstly, praise in public, criticize directly and in private. If I have an issue I will take it up directly with whomever I have an issue with. The second motto is that if I firmly believe that something is wrong, unjust, immoral, illegal or anything bad, then I will speak out and I will do it in a way where I can be held accountable. My name will be known and I will stand by my comments.

Lastly, I have seen some of the things that have been said about you and I have this to say. You are direct and unfortunately, many people cannot accept that. Too bad for them because if they listen, there is much to learn. In addition, in the last few years I have seen that those who succeed in your organization do so because they work hard, accept the help that’s offered, follow the systems and do whatever it takes. Those who have failed have done so because they either didn’t want to put in the effort or, thought they, the individual, was somehow so much smarter and more important than the team (too big an ego to accept advice and work with others). They consequently isolated themselves, lost touch and ultimately, were not successful. Once again, they controlled their own destiny.

Here’s wishing you much more success. (PS congrats on wikipedia, like you said, very cool)

  12. Tim Dollmeyer says:

Brad, thanks for this writing! The nay-sayers need to be routed out. Of course I believe in freedom of speech. But if you are willing to tear someone down, you should be willing to put your name behind it.

Thanks also for the great advice on dealing with this. I’ve been writing articles for some time now, and have run into this very thing. I appreciate the helpful tips. You always give great advice!

  13. Karl Scott says:

A lot of these tips are far more useful than going legal, which is often useless, or worse.

    And I am a lawyer…

  14. Clodelia Zarate says:

Comments that cannot be traced back are not worth reading.
If they hide in anonymity, it just shows their dodgy character.

Of course people will criticize and give negative feedback, they are all sitting on the fence, as spectators do. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, positive or negative. But think twice before posting them, and consider the impact it may have on people and their families.

The internet is a powerful medium of expression, let’s not cheapen it by using it to hurt honest people.

  15. Antoine Dupont says:

Great feedback and right on, and that’s from an Internet marketing Guru. Blogs, Forums, and social media is really all about relevance, the more relevant, the higher the ratings, the more expose you get.
Now my business is booming and this is mostly due to the coaching I have received from my Action Coach for the last two years. It doesn’t hurt that I am really good at what I do, but I would be at best doing Ok. Today, the growth and consistency of my business is unbelievable, so Brad, Thank you. Keep it up and I’ll see you at the top (first one there waits for the other..;-)

  16. Joanne Melbourne says:

Brad, choosing to honour yourself by strengthening your character through truth and certainty means you will always be a great leader! As you are aware there are many great leaders amongst us, each will attract those who on every level are just like them and in the light of recent anonymous posts, they will attract anonymous support which in my opinion has no ‘mana’ no honour and no real purpose but to give momentum to hysteria!

I for one have appreciated the great opportunity to grow, learn, fall-over and get back up, on what seems to be a daily basis sometimes, however knowing that your vision is allowing me (& my colleagues/buddies) to continue to move forward on this journey of leadership, teaching & encouragement for the success of others inspires me to BE Better! (daily…)

To powerfully hit this baby home, I will borrow the words of one of my mentors & a great leader of our time – Colin Powell.

“Perpetual optimism is a force multiplier”

The ripple effect of a leader’s enthusiasm and optimism is awesome. So is the impact of cynicism & pessimism. Leaders who whine and blame engender those same behaviors among their colleagues. I am not talking about stoically accepting organizational stupidity and performance incompetence with a ‘what, me worry?’ smile. I am talking about the gung-ho attitude that says ‘we can change things here, we can achieve awesome goals, we can be the best.’ Spare me the grim litany of the ‘realist,’ give me the unrealistic aspirations of the optimist any day.

    Hello Brad,
What a great topic…I would personally use any form of negative or positive comments out there to my advantage
It does hurt when their is a negative comment or blog, or article about yourself but my theory is “It Is None Of My Business What Other People Think About Me”
I would also think that person is very small minded, very jealous and needs to be put in there place. Successful people are always going to attract the people that need to listen and keep there mouths (words) closed but unfortunately or fortunately they like to be heard and taken notice of.

To all those people that do not have a positive thing to say….this is what i tell my boys….”unless you have nothing but nice things to say, then close your mouth” Please.
But a good point Brad about claiming your name in other ways by buying Domain names with as many different ways as possible.
Will be taking on board your suggestions.
Thanks for an interesting read and letting me have my two cents worth:)
Lisa from our path to prosperity.com

  18. Elizabeth Graney says:

    Well said!

Funnily enough I was only discussing this topic last night with my husband! He is a teacher trainer and recently had to lecturer on e-learning and internet resources. In turn we went on to the topic of the internet be uncontrolled and unpoliced and just what this meant!

The stucture of the internet can mean that anyone can publish anything and often it is not factual, correct or even up to date. Once said it is often out there for years and now in some cases even decades, so you need to do your bit to fight your corner and protect your name and business.

Thank you Brad for your ongoing advice and sharing your experiences so we can learn from them! :-)

  19. Michael Shinnick says:

    Hi Brad,

Thanks for this blog. I personally discount anything someone posts on the Web anonymously. It’s a very easy thing to do but lacks any credibility and is a spineless thing to do.

Those of us that know you know your impeccable values. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the advice on how to counteract it and keep these blogs coming…they’re great

    Michael

  20. Craig Brewster says:

Thanks for the tips Brad, great advice.

As Antoine said above, Relevance is Everything on the Net. As well as ‘Consistency’

Your years of practical advice, both on and off the Net, books, Webinars and Seminars are more than a match for a few isolated comments from anonymous, [read: cowardly], sources.

It’s a sad fact that if you stand for something in life and play the game, you’ll almost certainly be questioned by those on the sidelines. The world is full of ‘Monday Morning Experts’ that would rather comment on someone’s performance than take the field themselves.

For my part, I’ll look at the record you’ve made for yourself in Business and Life and let that be my guide. I’ll wager that people of substance will follow the same logic.

Roosevelt spoke about where the credit go Brad; to the man actually IN the Arena. Let the Critics remain the cold and timid souls that they are and keep your focus on the Vision you gave your heart and soul to create.

    That’ll be the best revenge.

  21. Nic Clark says:

    Brad,

Interesting Blog … I believe that the topic of people placing incorrect or defamatory information about a person / business will become very heated over the coming years and from the actions of people being wrongly accused or defamed eventually causing changes to the internet. The internet is being treated as truth right now, where a reader believes everything as being ‘Gospel’ – remembering something I read in the book – The Psychology of Influence by Robert B. Cialdini “if it’s written people believe it” … but that does not make it true.

I remember a TV interview done between Robert Kiyosaki and Four Corners sometime in the mid 1990’s which slammed him and to my belief and knowledge at the time … was totally unwarranted and if you look at where he is now I guess you could say “the proof is where he is now” and in the amount of people he has inspired.

From my perspective you have been tough but fair when it has come to me personally and being in business with you. You and your family have opened up your home to me and befriended me without any conditions. Although we have not kept in touch over the last few years I understand your vision and passion for what you are going for and also understand how this may ruffle a few feathers!

My final comment on this matter … If a comment is to be taken as a truth then the author of that comment should be willing to put their name and details for further discussion and / or rebuttal.

Thanks for the tips on your Blog.

  22. Mike smith says:

    Will keep it short …
    a. Ta for the advice
    b. I will and do let people know truth re. action coach. I speak from personal experience that the only reason I have not yet achieved the possible is me getting in the way. Often (as in the share market which is my area of business) people look for something to blame rather them themselves when things don’t go well and vent anger on anyone apart from the route cause which is usually themselves.

    Keep making the difference Brad
and catch you next time your in Perth
    Mike

  23. Rik lambert says:

These people are clearly playing below the line, we just have to work slightly harder, but this is the age we live in! As always you have a great system to deal with these things Brad!

  24. Tiffany says:

This is very solid advise and information. Managing your online identity is critical in today’s world and it is shocking how much of your life is available to anyone – addresses, maps to your home, employment records. Everyone should ‘google themselves’ regularly to ensure they know what is out there. And remember that employers and colleagues are looking up your name, too, so use caution when posting pictures that may be incriminating.

  25. Gavin Bassett says:

Hey Brad … truly sad that some stoop so low …

I’ve been a part of ActionCOACH now since 2001, and I must say that all my dealing with you have been straight and honest … my business and my life have benefitted immensely from your teachings, your leadership, your systems and your belief in people who dare to particate …

Action works for everyone who takes action … and I guess doesn’t for those who don’t … so if they want to cry into their soggy pretzels and blame others, then all intelligent people will see them for what they are.

  26. David Beam says:

    Brad:

The sky is green. Sewage tastes wonderful. Nobody cares about money.

How about some more myths and lies?

I can only speak to my own experience, and that means that a message without ownership is …. nothing but a myth.

Action Coach has changed my life for the positive. Has the road as a coach been paved with all hearts and flowers??? Of course not. Anything good in life comes with a challenge (my belief). Action Coach has changed many lives through me as well. For those who want details, go to http://www.actioncoach.com/davidbeam and to my testimonial page.

Brad Sugars is perfect and only hires perfect people. That one belongs with “The sky is green”.

If you are in business and want to experience the passion and joy of life again, I invite you to join our family. We’re not perfect, but we have a great, abundant, and prosperous family. Stay outside and criticize if you want to…if you look hard enough you’ll find our imperfectons. But I challenge you to lay down your gun, and take another look for the value. It will knock you down!!!!

Challenge to those searching for the truth – listen to the ones who take OWNERSHIP for their comments. Have a nice day!

    Dave Beam
Action Coach (and proud of it)

  27. Warren says:

There is a wonderful story that people who write defamatory articles and posts would do well to recall:
A Rabbi was asked to recite all the lessons of the Torah while standing on one foot. He accepted the challenge, stood on one foot and said “What is hurtful to yourself, do not to another.” He then put his foot down and said “The rest is just commentary.”
Imagine if we all lived by that one simple Golden rule

  28. Christy Shore says:

I am very grateful for the level of training and support available to me as an ActionCOACH.

Brad, you and your team have created an amazing company and opportunity. Thank you.

For those of you who have discovered great success within this framework – is it not what you have done with what you were given that created the success?

For those who have found that this system is not a good fit, why would you blame the system? Move on, and find what works for you.

  29. Manuela Gomes says:

    Brad,

Apart from what is happening to you personally… you even give pratical tips to what to do in these kind of situations – Well done!

And thanks – only those that came across with ActionCOACH know how can a group of like minded people are changing the world one business owner at a time…

    All the best!

  30. Alejandro De Gyves says:

I met Brad and Action 9 years ago, since then, I am an active member in Action and definitely will continue as such, for not only my professional live improved but my personal and financial as well. In this organization I have the privilege to meet so many wonderful professionals and great persons, as never before.
Brad has created an amazing Concept and a global organization from nothing. Brad is no doubt a great leader and a great business man, but he is also a straight forward guy who has helped literally thousands of people all over the world.
I remember many of my school teachers and recall that even the best, had always somebody that did not like them.
When I see things like that blog, were one without a name makes bad comments, I think about the thousands with names and faces that are grateful and happy with Brad, for all he did and does.
When more than 99% of the people knowing Brad and Action have a positive impression, I am sure, that means something.
We have a song here in Mexico that says “I am not a golden coin, to be liked by everybody”

  31. Gary Evans says:

Your response to this pap takes courage, strength and a rock solid connection to your vision. What a massive lesson for us all.

  32. Derek O'Dwyer says:

Hello Brad, thanks for taking the time to post the blog – The web is full of anon postings – very few are positive or have any helpful message. I have always discarded the anon posting as either being untrue or carrying an alternative message.

I have been involved with ActionCOACH since 2001 and both you and ActionCOACH have made a massive positive impact in my life. When I first joined, the main reason was the complete transparency – I was allowed to speak with everyone in Action at that time – no filters – everything that I was told would happen did happen and tha has continued to this day.

The vision, leadership and accountability are second to none.

    Thanks

    Derek

  33. Derek ODwyer says:

Hello Brad, thanks for the blog.

I agree with all other comments on anon postings. Like hecklers in a crowd.

I have been involved with ActionCOACH since 2001 and they whole experience has been very positive and rewarding. one of the reasons I joined was the transparency of communication within ActionCOACH. In addition, anything that was promised was delivered, and the system that we have all adopted works. What more can we ask for.

    Keep up the great leadership

    Derek

  34. Harry Raftos and David Crook says:

Speaking from our experience we are able to contact Brad at any time, by email or phone and he is always willing to listen to us as franchisees and help. Where else in the world can you get that from the CEO of a multinational organisation.
On top of that the ActionCOACH franchise is constantly providing us with educational materials, conferences and webinars to help us help our clients. As a business coaching organisation it is second to none. We have been franchisees for 8years and 4years respectively and have always found Brad willing to give generously of his time and great knowledge.

  35. Anthony McNab says:

” Pay no attention to what the critics say; no statue has ever been erected to a critic” Jean Sibelius

And I would add – if there was ever a statue raised to a critic then it would be the one that attracts the most pidgeons.

The internet is an incredibly leveraged way to exchange information, communicate and conduct business. Unfortunately it also is an extremely leveraged way for the naysayers to communicate as well. Even the most cowardly and weak (those who anonomously post) can do much harm with their written words.

Their turn will come however – it always does, there is nothing surer.

What I choose to focus on as an ActionCOACH of 6 plus years is the fact that we are a team of people who are globally united with one purpose. To improve the lot of business owners and their teams around the world such that they experience more abundance in their lives (health wealth and wisdom)which means their families benefit, their customers benefit and ultimately whole economies will benefit (more jobs, greater wealth, higher living standards). Such is the power of improving businesses one by one around the globe.

In the 6 years I have been administering the ActionCOACH system along with your world class business advice Brad I have seen peoples lives and businesses improve. This is happening in a consistent manner all around the world.

The minor annoyance of a few people “having a go” at an obviously very successful organisation is nothing more than having to swat away a few pesky flies. Truth and honesty always prevails.

Bring on more world abundance. There is much to be done.

Keep up the strong leadership Brad

  36. Ben Croft says:

The internet is a great resource as well as an endless business tool. But with its endless potential comes the potential for it to do harm. As time goes on and people become more relationship savvy, in terms of their online communications, anonymous posters won’t even be provided with a platform to even communicate their lies. In this new age, the referral age, people only just about have enough time to listen to those who they trust and have been refered to, never mind the endless number of unwanted communications we all receive. Hence, blogs like this that put a face to an opinion, that provide accountability and provide an opportunity to learn the truth are the future.

  37. Michael Stelter says:

    Brad -
Over my past 4 years in Action, you and everyone involved in this organization have provided options, hope and knowledge to all who asked and were willing to learn. If some dont see it – it is just not their time.

Thank you for making this possible.

  38. Marcia Rynearson says:

Being part of ActionCOACH means being part of an extended family that will celebrate with you, support you, cry with you, learn with you… because we are all capable of becoming more with this type of support than we can become on our own.

Did any of the cowards who are spreading lies ever ask anyone within the organization for help? For some it is easier to complain, to make excuses, and to point fingers than it is to look at themselves.

During my 5 years as an ActionCOACH I HAVE asked for help. And it has always been given…by my Master Licensee, by other coaches, and by Brad. And it has always changed me in some way that was needed for the next step in my journey.

We know that leadership starts at the top. All anyone has to do is look at our points of culture, at what and how we teach, and at the testimonials that our clients provide to know that this organization is led with professionalism, with honor, wtih passion, with integrity, and more…. I am very proud of who were are as a company, and of what we do.

  39. Steven Kay says:

I have known Brad and been part of this amazing business for over 8 years. You and ActionCoach have not only changed my life but the way I bring up my kids.
I am truly grateful to Brad for the opportunity to be part of this business and to help change the lives of thousands of people we see every year.
As the leader of ActionCoach, you have many more raving fans than you have knockers…… so don’t give in. That’s what you teach isn’t it !

  40. Thom says:

Have recently read and heard this same kind of advice in a few places recently. I’m glad someone wrestled the tough topic of downright deceitful postings. Lots of advice on transparency- and letting my customers talk to me- and I get that. But in looking through internet- this is the first topic I’ve found that has helped me when someone takes up pure negative postings.
    Thanks for this advice.

  41. Cecile Bronnec says:

    Hi Brad,

You did it very well… Those who are not able to understand that there is some work for everybody are completely below the line…
My life really changed the day I reached your ActionCOACH team.
And as a mechanical engineer, I can demonstrate it!
Please go on, don’t allow anybody to disturb you from your goal, they are just “poor” people…

    Cécile

  42. Stephen Marino says:

Brad – Having started, bought, build and sold numerous businesses over the past decade, worked 18 yrs in a Fortune 10 company and served 7 yrs in elite military units, there are few leaders that have performed and lead so many people to higher performance. Every leader I’ve associated with long term earns my respect with their actions…speaking louder than any words. Brad is congruent here…

I’ve been a part of this fantastic Action Community for 8 years and am proud to be associated with it. The decisions we make and the actions we take all come down to choice and Action , through Brad Sugars, has given me the tools to make some GREAT choices!

  44. Wayne Brunton says:

I am proud to have been coaching as part of the ActionCOACH team for over seven years. My greatest motivator has been the improvements in the businesses and lifestyles of my clients over that time. The biggest factors in both client results and coach performance are individual attitude and ability to follow systems and procedures. Brad and ActionCOACH supply both great systems and motivational support to achieve massive results, but as always actual achievements rely on the individual’s activities.

There is monumental evidence of the success of Brad and ActionCOACH from the results of tens of thousands of clients worldwide – let the anonymous detractors try to stack up against that

  45. Si Harris says:

Difficult to add to what has been said. I have been aware over the years of the stuff people have chosen to write (in the negative) about you Brad and it really is sad!! I understand that some people come and go thorugh this organisation like any other business, the ones that stay do so for a reason, we are all working towards the achievement of your Vision – World abundance through business re-education. Thats the train I am on.

Your leadership style may not suit some, your vision however is one worth fighting for – keep it going Brad.

  46. David Carlin says:

    Brad

Unfortunately there are people in the world set on “destroying” others and as we are seeing, use the simplicity and exposure of the web to hide behind their real issues.

I have been involved recently with a website business that has now been completely destroyed and resulted in those involved losing much money and “reputation” as a result of one person’s destructive and vindictive mindset. The reality is nothing can be done “legally” to stop it.

Sadly as humans we are not immune to “feeling” the pain of this and we do react. One day (if it has not aready happened) someone will not be able to cope with this and a good person will cease to exist.

Brad your drive and enthusiasm and support of people far outways those negative people that choose to destruct not just themselves, but others. Your simple above and below the line messsage says it all. If only they truly understood it.

I recall something about Mother Theresa saying when asked to walk against a war (which she refused to do)…”By walking against it, I would be acknowledging your war, and I won’t do that.” (or words to that effect)

Let’s not fight back. Lets just let them go away and us continue the great work that we all do. I am reminded daily that we have a fantastic opportuinity to live and breathe the good we do. Thats a far greater satisfaction than knowing we “won” against the dream stealers.

Keep driving forward Brad…the dream is strong.

  47. Christine Beard says:

    Brad,

Yes the internet is a wonderful thing – mostly – but it is something to be wary of too. I was sad to learn of your experience and at the same time proud to see how you have decided to handle it. Way to go Brad. You really inspire me. Christine

  48. Isaac Worthalter says:

It is not only the Internet. There is a flood of books, magazines, newspapers, TV programs, junk information of all sorts. It is difficult to find the truth among so much wording.

That is why we have to remain focus. Money and people come in and out of our lifes constantly. Words as well. But our time, it is precious and will never recover a wasted minute. Be selective. Pick Carefully. That is precisely what Action Coaches are good for. We help our clients to sieve their ideas to prioritize the best ones. Nothing like a process of ever questioning that material to filter only what is best.

And it is a fun process indeed.
My best regards to our fellow coaches from Mexico. (No longer sneezing)

  49. Steve Leach says:

As the longest serving coach, I’m overwhelmingly proud to be a part of ActionCOACH.

I very much doubt these gutless naysayers who hide in anonymity are in any way successful in their own right and the only way to build themselves up, is to bring everyone else down; a great excuse for not having to succeed themselves.

I’d like to see them pioneer an entire industry from the ground up AND still be the number one, most successful coaching organisation in the world after 15 years.

As for those who read and take on board the ‘drivel’… I’m sure their coffee tables are covered in gossip magazines instead of ‘Robb Report’, BRW, Fortune… and of course holiday brochures.

I think I feel a bit of the sadness, pity and frustration that Noah must have felt, trying to encourage people like this, to jump on the Arc.

  50. David Guest says:

Yes, unfortunately the saying “what other people say about me is none of my business” doesn’t really apply on the internet. Especially to Mr Anonymous…

Being a raving fan of ActionCOACH for over 10 years, I see an Entrepreneur building a super successful business that helps people create the lifestyle they deserve. Cheap shots by those who aren’t willing to do what it takes is almost a compliment. Shame they aren’t willing to show themselves.

The proof is in the pudding. Most ActionCOACH clients are living a much better life, thanks to Brad Sugars. See the results I’ve achieved at http://actioncoach.com/davidguest/testimonials.php

Real people, real results, thanks to ActionCOACH and Brad

    I believe
