The only Failure …

A simple and short message today ...

The only way you or I can ever fail in life is to not participate ... to give up, to not get up when you fall down.

You cannot fail if you are trying ... I say it to my kids ten times a day, yes but just give it a try ...

Get back on the horse, give it another go, get out there, you learned to walk by falling down, everything else will be the same, only question is will you stay down or will you get up ...

Finish the race strong, it's a great day, how do you know ... ?  You got given it, you woke up today, be your best, do your best and you will have the best ...

Enjoy ... Brad

I was never one for following the rules when I was younger and this lead to me being expelled from one of the highest ranked schools in the UK when I was 16…Although I left educated, the biggest lesson I left with was written in the corner of one of the science labs, and I remember it vividly. “You only fail when you stop trying” it said. This message stuck and I used it to motivate myself into enrolling in a new school starting from scratch and eventually becoming president of the largest school in the UK.

Since then I have aimed higher, and higher and higher and when I get to the point when it appears I fail…I don’,I just learn.

    Great post Brad.

There is always a way to succeed. We just need to be persistent and keep giving it another go until we find the path that leads to the level of success we desire. Along with persistence, we must be open to approaches that we may not believe will work…and when we try them, we are pleasantly surprised. This mindset has been a cornerstone of my career and life success.

    Thanks for the encouragement Brad.

It reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from John Maxwell
“21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership”, ‘if you set your goal on Victory there is no other option, therefore there is no plan B’ follows to say “failure is not an option, there fore there is no plan B”. Some achievments just take longer, that alone is a lesson in to itself. Patience and persistance. Delayed Gratification. HUM!
