Statistics show that Myspace has become a cyber ghetto http://www.inquisitr.com/27998/myspace-now-a-digital-ghetto/

Interestingly, the traffic stats between Facebook and Myspace show an almost perfectly inverse relationship. Facebook is growing its number of users whilst Myspace continues to decline http://malgordon.com/why-i-dont-use-myspace-as-part-of-my-strategies

Intersting thoughts Brad. I have limited exposure to the whole MySpace thing however to me it is simple. Each of these social media sites has its niche. MySpace is all about the tween, teen market. They are aimed at this group as it is a "space" to meet and share with friends.

FB is just that a "book" where information and knowledge is shared with like minded people who read!

If MySpace is to maintain its niche and play in that space then fine, it will be about attracting advertisers like Disney and J&J with their pimple creams etc...

To me Twitter is like a 15 second radio commercial for the person tweeting, FB is like a 30 second TV commercial.

My thoughts....
